Any modification done to an aircraft (fixed or rotary wing) must be done to data
that is Approved, Specified or Accepted. The regulatory bodies have exhausted extensive
resources in developing the definitions of those terms. In short unless the data
conforms to the requirements of the regulations for the modification being employed
the modification is illegal.
Depending on the nature of the modification and the operational characteristics
of the aircraft, approved data must be generated. This is the task of our System
Design Department. The approved data usually takes the shape of:
- System Engineering Orders
- Schematics
- Mechanical Drawings
- Compliance documents
- Safety Reports.
The System Design programs are customized for each modification undertaken.
Our certification projects extend from simple VFR GPS installation to full integrated
multi-source navigation and instrument systems in both FAA and Transport Category
aircraft. We have also done 3dimensional modeling for complex structural modifications
in corporate and transport aircraft.
We can prepare the necessary data that you need to achieve your approval, or we
can prepare the entire data package for both the FAA and Transport Canada necessary
to approve your modification.
